Pool heaters must be maintained regularly to work safely and efficiently. Inspect your heater annually for signs of rust, mineral deposits and scaling. Contact a licensed contractor if you have questions or if it requires service.

A natural gas barbecue should have a shut-off valve on its supply pipe. After you turn off the barbecue, make sure this valve is also off. Regular cleaning and inspection will ensure it works safely and efficiently.  Never use any type of barbecue in your home, garage or other enclosed space poisonous carbon monoxide can build up quickly.
